To the Man I’ll Always Write About — A Love Letter to Kim Namjoon (Part 3)

Hi ARMY, it’s Manasa — welcome back to Bangtan Beats.

This is Part 3 of my love letter series to Kim Namjoon — because some feelings don’t fit into a single post. Some people, like him, deserve to be written about again and again. This final part isn’t about explaining. It’s about feeling. It’s about how he becomes poetry in your bones.

Dear Namjoon,

I keep writing about you — not because I’m trying to, but because I have to.

You exist in everything I try to say. Even silence feels like it’s shaped like you.

You’ve become a rhythm in my thoughts. A pause between heartbeats.

You are the reason I believe that vulnerability is strength, that art heals, and that even sadness can bloom into something beautiful.

When I listen to “Love”, it’s like you’re whispering, "You’re enough."

When I walk under grey skies, I hear “Seoul” playing in the background.

When I need to breathe, “Bicycle” rides through my head like a soft breeze.

You said, “I live to understand the world, but the world has never understood me.”

Maybe that’s why I feel so drawn to you. I feel that too.

But then I remember that even if the world doesn’t understand us… maybe we can still find peace. And you help me find that.

I’ll probably never meet you.

You’ll never know my name, or how much your words have stitched me back together.

But I hope, somewhere in the quiet moments of your life, you feel the love of people like me — the ones you’ve saved without ever realizing it.

You’re the man I’ll always write about.

Not because I can’t move on…

But because some people just stay with you forever — not as memories, but as meaning.

Thank you, Namjoon. For being my comfort. My muse. My safe place.

With a love that asks for nothing,

— Manasa
